It was difficult for me to find a allusion at first, but as I put a lot of thought into it, I ended up having Mulan or Cat Dog as my allusion choices. My poem shows both me and Mulan's perspective of the world. My poem also shows the similarities between me and Mulan as well. My concept was Mulan, so at first I was going to have a picture of my face, half dolled up and half all-natural. But, I figure I'll do something not so simple. So, I decided to show my dolled up side on the left side of my graphic with a pink cherry blossom background to show my nice, pretty, girly side. Then, the right side shows my "guy" like personality with a red/black cherry blossom background to show the other side of me. I think my poem and my graphic helps me be more confident in myself because I can live "two worlds" no matter what anyone says.
